Hayley Orrantia, an American singer-songwriter and actress. Most people know the name as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. But, she is to be primarily an artist. According to her, music was always her first love. By the time she reached age 12, she had taken music seriously enough to begin studying professionally. She ventured into songwriting at 13, and she was just 14 when she made her debut album of covers songs. From that point on, there's been no looking back. Orrantia was raised in the USA and yet she holds Hispanic origins. While she grew up with solely English and was never in Mexico she is very happy about her Hispanic heritage. To keep it, she has learned Spanish and created songs that are in Spanish. She recorded an Spanish version of a track called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was selected to audition for The X Factor's first season in the summer of the year 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she got four "yeses" which is a vote, from the judges at the Seattle audition. The first time she auditioned, she was performing as a solo artist, however in the course of "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were added to an ensemble to go through the auditions. They were eliminated during the 5th week of the live show.
