April Bowlby
April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American actress, model and performer. Her most well-known role is that of Kandi on the CBS comedy series Two and a Half Men Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr on Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actress best known for her role as Stacy Barrett on the American comedy drama Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. After starting her career as a model later moved into television and film. As an extra, she first appeared on screen in the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In the near future, she was cast in the part as Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Bowlby gained international recognition with her Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. She played the character of Rita Farr/Elastigirl. She was a frequent character in the American show Titans. In the spin-off from Doom Patrol, she will reprise the role. Bowlby has also been seen on TV in films such as Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter as well as Sands of Oblivion 2. After her roles in The Slammin Salmon (which was her first film) along with From Prada, to Nada she debuted on big screens with All Roads Lead Home. She took drama classes in the company of Ivana Chubbuck. She was offered an appearance in a major television series (Kandi from Two and a Half Men) in the months following her first Hollywood audition. Bowlby was a part of a variety of TV shows, such as CSI with the role of Kaitlin Rackish in 2004 CSI: NY in 2005 as Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005. She also appeared on Stacked with Jasmine in 2005 as well as How I Met Your Mother as Meg in 2007. Recently, Bowlby played the part as Natasha on All Roads Lead Home a 2007 movie about a 12 year old girl that loses her mother in an auto crash. Bowlby is starring in the film as Mia as she appears for The Slammin Salmon (2008). She lives in Los Angeles. She has naturally red hair as well as blue eyes. She's single with no children.
