Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the United States for more than forty years. She is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Her stage work began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway in a variety of shows until the year 1957, in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. Her first music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film received a lot of praise as well as Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. Her next role that she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on with in 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious rather than her glamour-doll image had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she's also earned a name for herself as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 28th August 1965, her family relocated to Toronto around the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there as well as her adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the role of lead.
